Closed 1 hour earlier on December 24th and 31th .
Annual closures: January 1st, Easter Monday, May 1st and December 25th.

By car
- From Bordeaux or Toulouse: A62, exit 2, Podensac, Cerons-Cadillac via D11 // From Bordeaux-Pont de Pierre rive droite D10, Cadillac
By train
- From Bordeaux: Cerons station stop, then 2km walk to the château, via the D11
By bus
- With the Transgironde line 501 (Bordeaux-Stalingrad >< Langon), stop at "Place des Capucins" in Cadillac, then 200m on foot.
Services and conditions of visit
- Recommended length of visit: 1h30
- 4 levels to visit (ducal flats, royal flats, basements and "château-prison")
- Car parks in front of the château (remember to bring a blue disc) and in the town (at the foot of the ramparts)
- Visit document (available in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch) and cultural programme leaflet
- Bookshop
- Toilets, accessible to people with reduced mobility
- No dogs allowed, except guide and assistance dogs
- Pushchairs not permitted, baby carriers are preferable
- Castle garden managed by the town of Cadillac-sur-Garonne currently closed to the public
Disabled visitors
- Motor: level 0 is accessible to people with reduced mobility. It includes the bookshop-shop, the main courtyard, the flats of the Duke and Duchess (exhibition areas) and the toilets. There are also adapted labels and signs.
- Auditory: we provide labels and signs for the entire tour route, as well as mediation tools (tour leaflet and LSF tour).
- Visual: we provide tactile devices (2nd Queen's antechamber), subtitled videos throughout the tour route and audio mediation tools (podcasts available in the monument's online resources). Guide dogs are allowed inside the château.
To access the lift serving the various areas concerned, please ask at the château reception desk.
